Recap of BGMS Season 3 Grand Finals Day 1 Matches
Match 1 – Erangel
In the opening match, the final five teams were Team Tamilas, Carnival Gaming, Orangutan Gaming, WSB Gaming, and Reckoning Esports. The action heated up quickly as Team Tamilas’ MaxxyOP ran over WSB Gaming’s Zeref and ShikariJOD with his vehicle, eliminating the team. Following this, Reckoning Esports’ GravityJOD knocked Carnival Gaming’s Neyo while he was trying to enter the zone. Reckoning Esports’ Hunterz then used a perfectly timed grenade to finish off the remaining Carnival Gaming players.
The match came down to the last three teams: Orangutan Gaming, Team Tamilas, and Reckoning Esports. After an intense exchange, Team Tamilas’ Foxx delivered the final blow to Orangutan Gaming’s ATTANKI, leaving a 1v3 scenario between Reckoning Esports and Team Tamilas. Leveraging their number’s advantage, Team Tamilas overcame Reckoning Esports to claim victory.
Match 2 – Miramar
At the end moments of the second match, final six teams were surviving: Carnival Gaming, Orangutan Gaming, iQOO SouL, GodLike Esports, Global Esports, and Gods Reign. In a heated 4v4 encounter, Carnival Gaming triumphed over iQOO SouL with minimal casualties. Concurrently, Global Esports’ BEAST eliminated Orangutan Gaming’s AKop, resulting in Orangutan’s exit from the match. Gods Reign, who had been gatekeeping GodLike Esports, saw Zgod opting for a heal battle outside the zone.
As Global Esports and Carnival Gaming faced off, Carnival Gaming was eventually defeated and eliminated. The final three teams were GodLike Esports, Global Esports, and Gods Reign. With Zgod succumbing to the blue zone’s damage, the match narrowed down to Gods Reign versus Global Esports in a 2v3 situation favoring Global Esports. Demonstrating exceptional gameplay, Global Esports clinched the win.
Match 3 – Sanhok
The last five teams in Match 3 were Orangutan Gaming, iQOO SouL, WSB Gaming, Team X Spark, and Reckoning Esports. Reckoning Esports quickly dispatched Team X Spark’s SARANG, eliminating the team. Following a drawn-out battle, Orangutan Gaming managed to defeat Reckoning Esports in a 3v4 confrontation, with AKop showcasing his prowess by winning a crucial 1v2 fight.
As the match progressed, iQOO SouL, Orangutan Gaming, and WSB Gaming were the last three teams standing. AKop of Orangutan opted for a heal battle as iQOO SouL and WSB Gaming engaged in a 3v2 fight, with iQOO SouL emerging victorious without any losses. In the final moments, iQOO SouL finished off AKop to secure the match win.
Match 4 – Erangel
In the final match of Day 1, the last four teams were MOGO Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Team Tamilas, and Gods Reign. Team Tamilas found themselves caught between Orangutan and MOGO Esports, leading to their elimination. A chaotic 3v4 fight ensued, with Gods Reign and MOGO Esports each down to a single surviving player. Orangutan Gaming seized the opportunity, swiftly eliminating Gods Reign and then MOGO Esports to win the match.
