Has Valve Fixed the CS2 Anti-cheat?

Since the launch of CS2, a significant cheating problem has been haunting the players. Previously, CSGO also had the same issue and that’s when the third-party servers with good anticheats became popular. CS2 has plenty of spinbotters without being noticed by the anti-cheat system. However, there is some hope thanks to the newest CS2 update.

Has Valve finally fixed the CS2 anti-cheat? Let’s dig into it without wasting any time.

Has Valve Finally Fixed the CS2 Anti-cheat?

VACnet has been unproductive for many months before the update, but it has resurrected since. As stated by GabeFollower’s ratings there has been a ban on players while in game-play. Such changes signal a major move forward showing that Valve may now be winning the fight with people who cheat.

Now, with the new update, the CS2 system detects irregularities in gameplay and stops all games at once. Although it is hard to tell what exactly counts as abnormal behavior during play, spinbotting can be easily detected.

Although steps have been taken to recognize spinbotters, wallhacks remain one of the most serious problems in CS2. In contrast to spinbots, wallhacks are much trickier to identify since they do not show aggressive patterns.

Is Valve moving towards a sophisticated anti-cheat like FACEIT? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.
