The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023: The Grind Round 2 Week 1 has reached its conclusion. In this opening week of Round 2, 64 teams wire divided in four different groups of 16 teams each. Over the course of four days, from 3rd to 6th August, the teams in each group fought against each other. As the dust settles, the top 8 teams from each group have qualified for the Round 3 of this high-stakes tournament.

The BGIS 2023 tournament boasts an impressive prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000. The registration period for the main event ended on 6th August. However, prior to the main event, BGIS 2023: The Grind takes center stage, serving as the pathway for the top 256 teams to secure their place in the tournament’s limelight.
From the initial pool of 256 contenders, 128 teams saw their journey in the first round of BGIS 2023: The Grind come to a close. Nevertheless, the remaining 128 teams advanced to Round 2. In this round, the field narrows further, with 64 out of these 128 teams facing elimination, leaving only 64 to advance to Round 3.

The first week of this round has drawn to a close. Of the 64 teams that competed in Week 1, 32 teams have earned their passage to Round 3. On the other hand, the remaining 32 teams have concluded their journey in this tournament.
