The second half of the CS season will include IEM Cologne, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the history of the game. Just like every year, the tournament will be divided into two categories where top teams will make it to the event through invites while a qualifier will have the lower-ranked teams fight for a place in playoffs.
Set to start in August, IEM Cologne boasts a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 24 of the best teams in the world that will bring a plethora of storylines for the fans to be thrilled about. Cologne is considered by many to be the best CS event of the year despite not having the major status and boasts one of the best crowds in the world.
